1/First of all we would like to thank you for taking the time to provide with this interview. Would you introduce yourself to MEF readers?

My name is Nadya, Emarati blogger of the Fierce Diaries fashion is what i live for.

My names is Wahiba, ½ of the fierce diaries, live and breathe fashion.

2/ Please tell us more about your blog « The Fierce Diaries », what made you start it?

Nadya : starting a fashion/style blog came naturally as it is my passion and being on the scene for so long it was just a matter of time.

And to generate more readers Wahiba and I decided to collaborate and work on 1 blog.

Wahiba:I always had a interest in fashion and got Inspiration from initially being a dedicated blog reader myself

3/ Where do you draw your inspiration from?

Nadya: I get most my inspiration from my mother she is a very stylish individual as well as my sister, other than that LOOKBOOK plays a big role too.

Wahiba: Mainly from streetstyle, just from random fashionable individuals i come across in my daily life.

4/ How would you describe your personal style?

Nadya: Classy vintage with a twist of edginess

Wahiba: street style meets girly girl.

5/ What are the 3 current must have fashion trends of the season?

Nadya: Fur coats, sheer skirts and lots of prints

Wahiba: Fur trim, chelsea boots, sheer maxi/midi skirt

6/ Any style advice or tips?

Nadya: Don’t be afraid to mix and match patterns and texture and as well as layering your outfits always make a simple outfit look interesting.

7/ How do you see Fashion in Middle east ? Do you think fashion is getting the attention needed in the middle east?

Nadya: A lot of people still do focus on designer labels not knowing the amazing talent this region has when it comes to fashion & for those who do think the middle east lacks style they are sadly mistaken as most of these women cover it up with their Abayas which is unfortunate for people who have an eye for Fashion and Style!

Wahiba: Fashion in the middle east is still very designer labels and celebrity insipired. Over the years it has definetly got more attention.

8/ Can you share with MEF your future projects?

Nadya: As of right now we don’t have any major projects but we are collaborating with some very influential names in the industry stay tuned. As well as we always love collaborating with upcoming designers they are always welcomed to contact us at anytime.

9/ What advice would you give for young Fashion editors and bloggers looking to get into the industry ?

Wahiba: Networking is KEY, try to interact with other bloggers and attend events as much as you can.

10/ Any quote that you could leave us with?

Nadya: Don’t be afraid of being different and unique that’s what will get you noticed, BE YOU!
